Man receives “traumatic” injury at Walden’s Ridge Park

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — A man bicycling on Walden’s Ridge sustained a traumatic injury recently, according to Walden’s Ridge Emergency Service.

A 36-year-old man received injuries will jumping a hill on a trail at the Walden’s Ridge bike park, the emergency service said on Sunday.

Walden’s Ridge Emergency Services

Hamilton County EMS and the Chattanooga Fire Department assisted in getting the man out of the park. To do so, crews used a stokes basket and wheel, authorities stated.

They then took him to a hospital for treatment.

Emergency officials have not provided an update on the man’s injuries yet.
