UPDATE: Man dies day after shooting in East Lake Courts
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Chattanooga Police Department says that Malcom McKoy died on the 26th from his injuries sustained in a shooting that happened on the 25th at East Lake Courts.
Chattanooga Police arrested a juvenile for the shooting death of Malcom McKoy.
The name of the suspect will be withheld because they are a juvenile.
They are charged with Criminal Homicide and Possession of a Firearm during the commission of a Dangerous Felony.
Previous Story: Chattanooga police are investigating a serious shooting in the East Lake Courts Thursday night.
It happened in the 2200 block of East 25th Street after 11PM.
Officers arrived to find 37 year old Malcolm McKoy suffering from a gunshot wound.
They describe the injury as life-threatening.
Police are not releasing any suspect information at this time.
