Man Shot on Central Avenue Tuesday Night

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – A 31 year old man was shot in the thigh Tuesday night on Central Avenue.

Gaylan Williams tells police he was walking in the 4100 block around 10 PM when a driver offered to give him a ride.

But the driver got out and shot at him.

Williams could not give police a description of the shooter.

He was taken to a local hospital with a non-life threatening injury.
