Man shot on Drummond Drive in Chattanooga

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Chattanooga Police are investigating after a man got shot early Monday morning.

The shooting happened just before 3 a.m. on the 4500 block of Drummond Drive, according to police. This is a neighborhood in Chattanooga.

CPD found the man near the Circle K on Shallowford Road, who had a gunshot wound. His injury was not life-threatening, police stated.

“Police were told he was shot by an unknown man following an argument with his girlfriend and her son,” the CPD said.

Authorities are investigating the situation. They say they are following leads.

So far, police have not made any arrests.
