Man shot in yard in South Chattanooga

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – A 40 year old man was shot in his yard this afternoon in South Chattanooga.

It happened around 3PM at 1500 E 50th Street, about a block from the state line at Rossville.

The victim tells police he was in the yard when another person who he did not know, fired a shot in his direction.

He was taken to the hospital with a non life threatening injury.
