Man sustained life-threatening injuries in drive by shooting in Chattanooga

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Chattanooga Police Department says they are investigating a drive by shooting on S. Greenwood Avenue.

It happened just after midnight.

A witness told investigators that the victim was shot by an unknown person in a passing vehicle.

A man sustained life-threatening injuries in the shooting. The adult victim was transported to a local hospital by Hamilton County EMS.
