Marion Co Coach Ricky Ross Leaves For Job at McCallie

Marion County head football coach Ricky Ross will soon be at McCallie.
He’s leaving the Warriors to take the defensive coordinator’s job with the Blue Tornado.
Ross took Marion County to the state championship game in each of his two seasons with the team, and now Blue Tornado head coach Ralph Potter is excited to welcome Ross to McCallie.
Said Potter,”Everywhere he has been, he has done really well. Did a great job at Calhoun in Georgia and Marion County. We’re just excited. I think he’s a great guy. I think he’s going to work well with our kids. I think they are going to respect him and respect his knowledge. Think he will make us better.”
