Marion County High School vs. Brainerd High School

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – Brainerd also got to test their mettle against a top-ranked team Friday night in Marion County.

The Warriors looked like a top ranked team.

Opening drive the give to Hunter Downs, he goes 11 yards for the touchdown; making it 7 – 0 Marion County.

Warriors defense opened strong too, they got 2 tackles for a loss, including this one by Bradley Baxter.

Warriors get the ball right back, and they get it to Downs.

He marches in for the score, that made it 14 – 0.

Next Marion County possession, they get the ball to Quin Beasley, he picks up 16 yards on the play.

Another first down for the Warriors.

Then it’s Downs again, he needs to change his initials from HD to TD.

That’s his 3rd touchdown of the night; making it 21 – 0 Marion County.

They go on to win 49 – 25.
