Marion County woman charged with stealing from Youth Football

JASPER, Tennessee (WDEF) – More than a year ago, authorities asked the TBI to investigate missing money from the “Marion County Little League Football” organization.

This week, a grand jury indicted the organization’s former treasurer.

Kimberly Diana Winters faces a count of Theft of Property.

Investigators say the thefts happened between 2015 through 2017.

They say she took more than $5,000 of the organization’s money for her own personal use.

Winters was formally arrested on Thursday.
