Mark Pemberton Leaving Rhea Co to Take Head Coaching Job at Campbell Co

Long time Rhea County head football coach Mark Pemberton has stepped down.

He’s leaving the Golden Eagles to take the head coaching job at Campbell County.

Pemberton coached Rhea County for over a decade, where he enjoyed plenty of success.

Pemberton has 250 career victories, third best among active Tennessee high school football coaches.

Pemberton is a master of the Wing ‘T’ offense.

It wasn’t uncommon for one of his teams to win a game without throwing a single pass.
