Mark Richt Announces He Has Parkinson’s Disease

Former Georgia and Miami head football coach Mark Richt announced that he has Parkinson’s disease.

On his twitter account Thursday, Richt posted that he has been waddling around for awhile and people have been asking what’s wrong with him.

Richt added…”truthfully I look at it as a momentary light affliction compared to the future glory in heaven.”

Richt became Georgia’s head coach in 2001 and coached the Dawgs for 15 years.

He currently works for the ACC Network.
