CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) —  Chattanooga City Mayor Tim Kelly has the honor of throwing the first pitch at the Lookouts game August 18, 2024.

Kelly was throwing in honor of the Lookouts Library day.

Attendees who had a library card with the Chattanooga Library received free entry to the game.

The Lookouts are also partnering with the Chattanooga library to launch a Family Pass.

This pass provides admission to a lookouts game for two adults and two children with a library card.

These passes are on a first come, first serve basis.

Mayor Kelly said the Library is a big part of this community.

“We try to be involved in everything as we can. The library’s an incredible asset for the whole community so if you haven’t been to Chattanooga’s downtown library or any of the Chattanooga branch libraries I would encourage you to go, there’s a lot of cool stuff in there other than books.”

If you and your family want a chance to attend for free, the Lookouts play again Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at 7:35 p.m.
