MCA Technology Solutions Celebrates 30 Years

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- Over the last few years Chattanooga has become known as “GiG City”, but many people don’t know that one of the key players in local CyberSpace,” is actually 30-years old.

MCA Technology Solutions actually started back when dot.matrix printers and floppy drives were popular.

The management and staff held a formal-reopening today preparing for the next 30 years.

The pioneering company has 35 engineers on staff.

It’s contracted with Mohawk Carpet, Beaulieu of America, Life Care Centers and Covenant transport to name a few.

Mike Collins and his wife Karen are the founders.

“We’ve evolved with the technology over time, both in what we repair and what we do. And especially today with all the engineers we’ve got on staff that actually help small and medium businesses that really can’t afford or don’t want to own their own I.T,” said Mike Collins.

Collins lost his wife Karen to ovarian cancer last year.

He now sponsors the Karen Collins “Un-Teal” There’s A Cure Foundation.
