McCallie Excited to Play For State Title in Their Own Back Yard

Chattanooga, TN-(WDEF-TV) McCallie will chase their third consecutive state title in their own back yard.
Finley Stadium is less than five miles from the McCallie campus.
The Blue Tornado could almost walk over to Finley to battle MBA for the state crown Thursday evening. McCallie has a chance to be the first Chattanooga school to win the championship in the Scenic City. Head coach Ralph Potter says McCallie already views Finley Stadium as a second home, so they’d love to dial up a little home field advantage.

Said Potter: “That’s a special thing. It’s never happened before. I think it’s something we didn’t really talk about in the season because we didn’t want to jinx it, but we’re really glad we’re here. I think it’s a great opportunity for Chattanooga, and I hope we have a big crowd.”

McCallie and MBA are scheduled to kick at 7pm Thursday at Finley Stadium.
