McFarland Road Railroad Crossing To Close For Maintenance

DALTON, Ga. (WDEF) — The railroad crossing near the intersection of McFarland Road and Hamilton Street will be closing on Wednesday, November 12 for repair work.
The work is expected to take the rest of the week.
No traffic will be able to cross the tracks while maintenance is being carried out.
The crossing is located near 106 McFarland Road and is immediately adjacent to the McFarland/Hamilton Street intersection.
Detour signs will be posted.
Drivers should plan alternate routes to avoid delays.
