McKamey Animal Center helping in bunny rescue
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — The McKamey Animal Center (MAC) is partnering with The Humane Society of the United States in responding to a bunny rescue.
These organizations responded to an overwhelmed caretaker who reached out for assistance.
Over 100 rabbits were living in one place, with extremely unsanitary conditions.
These organizations have located several rabbits so far, but are aware that some are hiding in furniture and burrows underneath the home.
Some rabbits are pregnant, have just given birth, are sick, or need special attention.
McKamey has reached out to the community in need of help.
Donations can be made through their website or Facebook.

MAC is also asking for patience.
While assisting with this case, their staff is going to have their hands full.
“We will return your calls and messages as soon as we are able to and appreciate your support,” stated MAC through Facebook.
