McMinn Co Falls in State Quarterfinals

The McMinn Co boys basketball team lost to Memphis Overton 74-55 in the quarterfinals of the Blue Cross State Championships Tuesday in Murfreesboro. Jordan Frison and Jailen Hardaway were a big one-two punch for the Wolverines, as they combined for 48 points. Frison tossed in 27, while Hardaway added 21, including a perfect 8-8 from the field. The Wolverines hit 56 percent of their shots, and they out-rebounded the Cherokees 32-19. Reese Frazier paced McMinn Co with 15 points.
