McMinn Co Takes Down Ootlewah 9-5

Ooltewah, TN-(WDEF-TV) McMinn Co rallied for a 9-5 win over Ooltewah on Tuesday evening at Ooltewah High School. The Cherokees collected four runs in their first at-bat, only to see the Owls score 5 runs in the bottom of the first highlighted by a Gavin Fields 3 run homer.  Cherokees regained the lead in the top of the second on a 2 RBI single from Auston Fugate to make it 6-5 McMinn Co. Cherokees added three more runs to nail the victory.
