McMinn County looking for donkey shooter suspect

ATHENS, Tennessee (WDEF) – The McMinn County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a suspect wanted for shooting two donkeys last spring.

The animals were shot on a farm on County Road 700 in May.

The Grand Jury indicted Colby J. Eaton for the crime.

The charges are two counts of Cruelty to Livestock.

Sheriff Guy posts that his office has made several attempts to allow Eaton to turn himself in, but nothing has happened.

The suspect is 21 years old, 6’0″, brown eyes, brown hair.

Authorities say he may be living in the area of No Pone Road, or in Meigs County.
