Michele Coffman announces candidacy for Hamilton County Circuit Court Judge

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – This morning, Chattanooga attorney Michele Coffman announced her plans to run for Hamilton County Circuit Court Judge.

She practiced law in front Circuit Court Judge Marie Williams for 23 years.

Judge Williams is retiring after 28 years on the bench.

Coffman hopes to follow in her footsteps.

“She will be leaving a great legacy, one I plan to build upon through my years of experience in state, federal, and juvenile court. With my vast experience, I plan to mediate and resolve cases while also focusing on efficiency, transparency, and ensure fair trials,” said candidate, Michele Coffman.

Michele Coffman is a Christian conservative who was born and raised in Chattanooga.

She is a UTC graduate who opened her own successful practice in 2001.

General Sessions Count Judge Alex McVeagh is also running to replace Judge Williams on the Hamilton County Circuit Court.
