Middle Valley Road to Close for Storm Drainage Pipe Installation

Middle Valley Road will be closed overnight beginning Wednesday, January 7, at 7:00 p.m., and will reopen by 5:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 8, according to the Office of the Hamilton County Mayor.

This will allow crews to install storm drainage pipes.

Traffic will be routed along Thrasher Pike, N. Dent Road, and Gann Road. 

They say residents should know:

• Local residents within the closure area will still be able to access their homes.
• Emergency services will have access to residents but will need to follow the detour route.

They encourage locals to plan alternate routes, expect minor delays and use caution near the work zone.
