Miller Park hosted Fourth annual SPLASH Summer Arts festival
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Miller Park hosted the SPLASH Summer Arts Festival today
Splash Youth Arts Workshop put on the event. This is their fourth annual festival.
Splash Youth Arts Workshop is a local non-profit that has provided free art classes to the youth in Chattanooga since 2012.
This event was free to anyone, and had things like music, food, and most importantly arts and crafts.
“This is the fourth annual splash summer arts festival and we use this festival as a fundraiser for our year round program. Splash is a free art school for kids who cant afford to pay for art classes, we also teach singers. So this is a fun day in the park for families and especially for kids,” said Charlie Newton, Executive Director for SPLASH.
This was also a great event for regional artists as they were able to showcase their work as well.
