Mocs Coach Tom Arth Has Name Linked to Coaching Vacancy at Akron

Mocs football coach Tom Arth has seen his name pop up on the coaching search at Akron. According to the Carroll News, Arth is the leading candidate for the Zips head coaching position.

Akron is looking to replace Terry Bowden, who they fired after going 35-52 in seven seasons. Arth is an Ohio native, and he played and coached at a school near Akron in John Carroll University. Arth just finished up his second season at UTC, where he lead the Mocs to a 6-5 record.
