Mocs Lose Assistant Coach Shelton Felton to the Tennessee Vols

The Mocs started fall camp with linebackers and associate head coach Shelton Felton, but now he’s gone. It has been announced that he is going to Knoxville to take an off the field role with the Tennessee Vols. It’s certainly never easy to lose an assistant once fall camp gets going. Said Mocs head coach Tom Arth:”That was really the first real adversity that we have faced this season, and i thought we handled it well. We let the team know. I’m sure there were people that were down and disappointed and going to miss Coach Felton, but we bounded right back. We had a great practice that day. Came back the next day and had an even better day. I’ve been proud of the way our team responded. We wish Shelton all the best. I know he’s going to do great things for Tennessee.”
