Mocs Must Replace Star Defensive Linemen This Fall
UTC must replace a couple of stars on the defensive line in Davis Tull and Derrick Lott.
Both guys are now in the NFL.
But head coach Russ Huesman believes he already has two guys that will give opposing quarterbacks headaches this fall.
"Well obviously Keionta Davis and Josh Freeman are two guys that I think are as good as anybody in the league and should be all-conference kind of guys."
Added Davis,"Yeah, me and Freeman talk about being the best pass rusher duo here. I think we can do it. We’ve got high expectations for us. Our team goal was forty sacks this year. We had 30-something last year I think. We’ll just push it to a high level and go to a whole new level this year."
