Mocs Not Surprised Running Back Ailym Ford Keeps Setting Records

Chattanooga-(WDEF-TV) Mocs running back Ailym Ford continues to re-write the record books at UTC. He set three new marks last Saturday against Samford, including becoming the first back in Chattanooga history to record three, 1,000 yard rushing seasons. Ford’s coaches and teammates are not surprised by Ford’s success because he has worked, and worked, and worked for it.

Said offensive lineman McClendon Curtis:”In the summer I had tell him like hey, I’ve seen him. We work out every day fo the week. I’m like hey, Friday, Saturday or Sunday, at least take one of those days to breathe. Please. For my sake.”
Said head coach Rusty Wright:”He’s beat up. Banged up right now, but you couldn’t tell it. You couldn’t tell it. He is. He is special.”
Said Curtis:”He’s all about business you know. He is way different. I asked him. I said is your family going to come to the game. He said I don’t really like my family to come to the game. I was like why? He was like…you know this is kind of like my job, so I don’t want them around here. (Chuckles) I just started laughing. I was like okay. Whatever makes you go you know.”
