Mocs Set to Host Premiere Wrestling Tournament in America With Southern Scuffle
The Mocs wrestling team will once again host the premiere wrestling tournament in the country.
The two-day Southern Scuffle starts Friday at McKenzie Arena.
Twenty nine teams will hit the mat, including top-ranked Penn State.
The Nittany Lions are one of eleven top 25 teams in the event.
For Chattanooga, wrestling against the best programs in the nation can only make you better. Right coach?
Said Mocs coach Heath Eslinger-"Yeah I mean it’s two-fold. It can make you better or it can make you worse. That level of competition can also hurt your confidence a little. But our guys are ready. Our guys are confident. They believe in what we’ve been doing. We’re excited to position ourselves against some of the better guys in the country."
