Mocs Trey Bonham and Honor Huff Form Solid Backcourt and Solid Friendship

Chattanooga-(WDEF-TV) Mocs guards Trey Bonham and Honor Huff first became tag team partners at VMI.
They create fun wherever they team up, and they always create havoc for the opposition.
The back-court duo have Chattanooga on the cusp of winning a SoCon Title.

<When Trey Bonham and Honor Huff first met, there was caution.
Said Bonham:”It’s funny because he was recruited at my position. We are about the same height. So when he came in as a freshman, I was like. I don’t like this dude.”(chuckles)

Now they’re roommates, and people apparently struggle to tell them apart.
Said Huff:”I mean we’re kind of annoying because we will tell people we’re brothers, but was also get that a lot, especially at VMI when he had that short hair too like me.”
Said Bonham:”Even Coach Earl to this day. In practice he’ll go Honor. I mean Trey. He does that all the time. People think we are brothers. We say yeah, we are brothers. They’re like y’all look just alike. We’re like no we don’t.”
Imagine this.
They’re both averaging roughly the same 14 points a game.
That’s 28 points a night from your back-court.
Who wouldn’t want that?
Said Huff:”I think we can go toe-to-toe with any backcourt really in the country. Not just in mid-major.”
Said Bonham:”I mean you don’t really find a group or people that have been together this long. Me and him have played like three or four years together. We have that chemistry that’s kind of rare to find.”
Gotta be fun playing hoops with your so-called brother.
Said Huff:”He truly thinks. He truly thinks he’s the best player in the world. Sometimes I have to tell him calm down because he’s no better than me.”(chuckles)
Said Bonham:”He could talk to a brick wall. He’s a great guy I guess.”
Said Huff:”His finishing at his size. Able to jump with the trees and finish and wrap-around his back and do some acrobatic stuff. I commend him all the time on that.”
Said Bonham:”If I’m down, his vibe will just make you. You can’t be sad around him. He’s going to make you smile. He’s going to make you laugh.”
