Mohawk Industries catches fire Tuesday night

WHITFIELD COUNTY, Ga. (WDEF) — Workers at Mohawk Industries in Whitfield County are back at work Wednesday after the scare of a roof fire.

The Whitfield Fire Department knocked down a fire on the roof Mohawk Industries near Dalton Tuesday night.

The fire was controlled using hand lines and aerial ladder apparatus.

The cause of the fire is undetermined after investigation.

Fire damage was contained to the roof of the structure.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
