Mohawk Industries Plant Damaged in Fire

WHITFIELD COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — Whitfield County firefighters are looking into what caused a large blaze that damaged a Mohawk Industries plant.

It happened around 11:30 p.m. Saturday at the carpet facility on Antioch Road near Dalton.

Officials tell News 12 it took firefighters a little more than two hours to put out the plastic fire in the warehouse.

Both Whitfield County and Dalton fire departments responded.

No one was hurt.
