Mom to Mom- Acorn Donuts
Today on Mom to Mom we’re going to celebrate the beginning of fall with this delicious snack.
Today we are making acorn donut holes, that really involves no baking, you just go to the store, get some donut holes, wax paper, pretzels, some sprinkles, some icing, and I mean, that’s a pretty simple snack. So we like to celebrate the beginning of fall and it’s a great activity for your kiddos to do. If you’re ready, we’re going to show you how to put these acorn donut holes together.
So what you want to do is take your donut hole, then take your pretzel, kind of break it off a little bit, and stick it into the top of the donut hole. Once you’ve done that, you want to melt your chocolate just maybe 5, 10 seconds, then you’re going to take that donut hole and dip it into your chocolate, kind of get nice and coating about halfway in there, then you’re going to dip it into your autumn sprinkles. Once you’ve completed that, you stick it on your parchment paper or wax paper and keep doing that until you get the desired amount.
Now, I like to put mine in the freezer just for maybe 10 minutes to cool the chocolate down a little bit. Once you’ve taken them out of the freezer, you got a nice little autumn treat that your kids absolutely love. I mean, who doesn’t love donuts and chocolate and sprinkles, right? Hopefully, your kids enjoy this as much as ours do, and if you’ve got any wonderful ideas, let’s hear them. We’ll see you on the next Mom to Mom.
