Mom to Mom – Chore Chart

Today on Mom to Mom, we are creating a chore chart for your kiddos!

I always feel like I am constantly nagging my boys. Do the dishes. Make your bed. Brush your teeth. So these chore charts are wonderful. We’ve done several before in the past, but those tend to get lost and watered up, so I really enjoy a more heavy-duty chore chart like this one.

You can go get some clipboards and clothespins at any craft store or your Dollar Tree, and what I like to do is add a little chalkboard paint to it so you can write on it and erase it.

To create the chore chart, first write which chores you would like them to complete on the clothespins, and then divide the clipboard into four quadrants: Done and Not Done for daily chores, and Done and Not Done for weekly chores. That way they know what they’re supposed to do on a daily basis and what they’re supposed to do weekly. Once they complete a chore, your child will move the clothespin over to Done. With the holidays happening, it’s just easy to get out of that routine. This helps you keep the kiddos on a routine!

This is a wonderful, wonderful way to help keep those kiddos in line, or like my producer said, the fiancé in line!

Moms, if you have any wonderful ideas, we would love to hear about it. You can message us on our Facebook page and we’ll see you on the next Mom to Mom.

Send your photos to us on our Facebook page and be sure to check out our Mom To Mom page for more tips.
