Mom to Mom – Decorative Carrot Patch

Today on Mom to Mom, we’re going to make a cute carrot patch for outside with just two items. We love to decorate for spring! It’s super nice and warm and you’re trying to think of something different and outside of the box to decorate your front yard.

With today we have a cute create your own carrot patch with just two items for fairly inexpensive. So what you’re going to need are these orange cones, which is like a sports cone. You can find this at Walmart or sports store. And then you can go to your craft store or floral store and find some loose fern stems. These aren’t really ferns, but they’re close enough that we can use them and put them in the ground. So what you’re going to want to do is find an area in your front yard. You’re going to take your orange cone. Once you find some soft ground, you’re going to place it on the ground. Then you’re going to take your fern and kind of just shove it into the ground, creating that carrot. Once you’re done with that one, you just keep doing it in the way that you would like for it to look in your yard. And it’s just an easy, inexpensive way to add a little extra decoration for the spring, because when I think spring, I think bunnies, carrots, all the fun stuff.

If you have any wonderful ideas much like this one, please message us and we might do that on the next Mom to Mom.
