Mom To Mom – Fidget Learning
Pop fidgets are so popular among the little ones, and here’s you how you can put these to some good use with learning through alphabet or numbers.
You can get pop fidgets anywhere. Take a fidget and write on them with a Sharpie and kind of go down the line with the alphabet. That way you can practice the alphabet with your little kiddos, or you can practice spelling when they get in kindergarten or first grade. If they are learning their numbers, you can write the numbers on there as well. You can even do adding and subtracting.
For example, I put the ABCs on one, and what you want to do is just hand this to your little one and say, “Pop the J,” and then they’d go on there and find where the letter J is. Or you can say, “Push in the letter M,” and they go on there and push in the letter M.
If you want to teach them how to spell, they can do that as well. Say, “Spell cat,” and then they would push it in, C-A and then they would just find what they needed to. And if they couldn’t find it, then you can help them. But it’s just a fun, super easy way to get their little minds going.
Having these little pop fidgets are super great, and when you can add learning to it, makes it even better. Hopefully you find this useful, and moms, if you’ve got any wonderful ideas that you would love for us to try, you can post it to our Facebook page and we’ll see you on the next Mom To Mom.
