Mom to Mom – Holiday Drinks

Today on Mom to Mom, we are creating fun, holiday themed drinks!

Around the holidays, and when it gets cold outside, my kids just love a good cup of hot chocolate! Or, if you have some picky eaters, they might just want some chocolate milk. Today I’ve got two ways to make both of these drinks fun and festive!

We’ll start off with the chocolate milk drink. For this, you’ll need some Reddi-wip, some clear plastic cups, a black sharpie, an orange sharpie, and some Jet-Puffed Marshmallow Creme. It’s so good!

To turn this regular glass of chocolate milk into an adorable winter-time treat, you’re going to take a spoon, dip it into that marshmallow cream, and smear it on the inside of your plastic cup to create the shape of a snowman! Once you’re done with the snowman, decorate him however you want by drawing the details on the outside of the cup with sharpie. You can use the black sharpie to give him coal buttons and eyes and a big top hat, and you can use the orange sharpie for his carrot nose.

Once your snowman is done, you can pour the chocolate milk into the cup and add Reddi-wip on top of that chocolate milk and serve it to your kids. It’s so cute, they’ll love it!

The next holiday drink uses hot cocoa. You’ll need some Cool Whip, a pan, aluminum foil, some cookie cutters, and some sprinkles.

To make this drink, you’ll first line your pan with your aluminum foil, then take the Cool Whip and dump it on top of that pan. Spread the Cool Whip out evenly, but you’ll want it to be pretty thick. Pour your sprinkles over the top and pop it into the refrigerator. I like to leave it in the fridge overnight, because the colder it gets, the easier it is top use, but you should leave it in for at least two hours.

Once the Cool Whip is chilled, pull it out of the fridge, and take the cookie cutters and cut out fun little shapes. Then you can take this yummy Cool Whip and throw it right on top of your nice hot chocolate! The kids will love it!
