Mom to Mom – Homemade Electrolyte Drink

Today on Mom to Mom, we’re making our very own electrolyte drink!

It is summertime, and that means that we can get dehydrated pretty quickly, especially if your kids are involved in sports and you’re working out. Now, you can go to the store and buy those electrolyte-filled sports drinks, like Gatorade and so forth, but sometimes they’re filled with a lot of extra added things that we don’t really need. And it’s really easy to make these electrolyte drinks right at home!

You’re gonna need two cups of coconut water, half a cup of juice, one tablespoon of honey, and then half a teaspoon of your handcrafted sea salt. Mix all this together, and then you’re ready to drink your electrolyte drink!

If you wanna make a big batch, you can stick it into a mason jar and then pop it in the refrigerator so it’s ready to go whenever you’re on the go. Just throw it all together, mix it up, and then you’re ready to drink this!

Moms, if you have any other wonderful ideas to keep your kids hydrated, comment on our Facebook page and we’ll see you on the next Mom to Mom!
