Mom To Mom – How Inflammation Causes Belly Fat
Inflammation can cause belly fat and here are three ways to reduce the size of your midsection.
As we age, especially women, we struggle with that midsection area.
It gets a little bit bigger and inflammation plays a huge role in that. And there’s a couple of things that we can do in order to reduce inflammation and help lose belly fat. Number one, alcohol. Alcohol creates a lot of inflammation in the body. So limiting alcohol to once or twice a week can really help reduce that midsection area. Number two is sugar. Sugar really impacts that midsection. So limiting foods that are high in sugar, processed sugar can be a great way to help reduce belly fat. And number three is gluten and dairy. A lot of people have an intolerance to gluten. A lot of people have an intolerance to cow products.
Just reducing those reduces inflammation, and can really help reduce that midsection.
I’m all about the 80/20 approach. So 80% of the time, limit alcohol, sugar, gluten, and dairy. 20% of the time live your best life and use it all.
