Mom To Mom – Make Your Own Healthy Energy Snacks
If you’re like me, your kids get home from school, they’re very tired, but they’re also very hungry and you don’t want them reaching for the candy and stuff like that so we have a healthier snack option that is easy to do, there’s no baking involved, your kids can do it themselves.
So we got some simple ingredients. We’ve got some whole grain oats, there’s some honey in here, some vanilla extract, and some M&Ms, and peanut butter so it’s packed with lots of protein and energy. So let’s get started on making these.
So you’re going to want to mix all this together. You’re going to take a cup of your oats, then you’re going to take a half a cup of peanut butter, half a cup of M&Ms, a teaspoon of vanilla, and 1/3 cup of honey. Mix these all together. And once you have like a good consistency, you’re going to stick it in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. Once that is in the refrigerator and cooled down a little bit, you can start rolling them into balls and then they’re ready to eat.
