Mom to Mom – Pizza Pan Christmas Countdown
Today on Mom to Mom, we are creating a Countdown to Christmas Clock using a pizza pan!
The Countdown to Christmas is officially on, and you might have a ton of Countdown Christmas Clocks already, but this one is super personal, very inexpensive, and your kids will have a blast making it!
All you’ll need for this Christmas Countdown Clock is a pizza pan from the dollar store, popsicle sticks to make the hands of the clock, and whatever you want to use to decorate it! I like to use chalk spray paint so my kids can write on the countdown in chalk. I have each of them done. I also like to attach magnets to the back of my clock so it can be displayed on the fridge, but you can put some strings on it and hang it up anywhere in your house if you’d like.
If you want to paint your clock, spray it down with a primer first so the paint will stick to it. Cut the little popsicle sticks that’ll be the arms of the clock at an angle, so they’re pointed at the end just like the hands of a real clock. Then you can paint the sticks white. Glue a magnet to the back of your popsicle stick and it’ll pop right onto the pizza pan!
Decorate the countdown however you want, you make it personal to yourself! The kids absolutely love this! I mean, who doesn’t love to count down the days to when Santa comes? Right?
Hopefully you like this idea. If you have any wonderful other ideas, we’d like to hear about it. You can message us up on our Facebook page, and we’ll see you on the next Mom to Mom!
