Mom to Mom – Quench Your Thirst with a Glass of Whipped Kool-Aid
Today on Mom to Mom, we have a unique and refreshing twist on your kid’s favorite drink. Your kids absolutely love Kool-Aid, at least mine do. I mean, who doesn’t? It’s super delicious, a tasty drink, so why not put a fun little twist on it and make whipped Kool-Aid?
All you’re going to need is some Kool-Aid packets, some heavy whipping cream, and some sugar. Let me preface, this is not a healthy kid’s drink, but if you want to take out the sugar, you can always use a sugar substitute or monk fruit sugar, which is probably the healthiest bet that you can get. But today we’re using actual sugar.
What you’re going to want to do is go ahead and make the Kool-Aid based off the packaging. I believe it’s one cup of sugar and then two quarts. Put that in a nice little container and set it aside. Then you’re going to take another pack of Kool-Aid, and you need the whole pack. Then you’re going to need a half a cup of heavy whipping cream and one third cup of sugar. You’re going to throw that into a bowl and then mix it all together until it’s nice and whipped. Once you have that done, you can put some ice in your cup, pour your Kool-Aid about two-thirds of the way, then put in the whipped cream Kool-Aid topping on top, put a straw in it. As you can see, this is a super fun, cute drink for your kids this summer. They’ll love helping you make it. You just stir it all together and take a big old sip. That’s so good. So good.
