Mom to Mom – Sweet Treats for Spring

Today on Mom To Mom, we have a couple of spring treat ideas.

We love springtime, and if you have a little one or a middle schooler, these are cute ideas for your kiddos to help get in that spring fill. So first, we’re going to make this cute little Easter bunny bag. You could give it to your kid’s friend, give it to your child or a school teacher. All you need for this are some brown paper bags, some little cotton balls, some ribbon, scissors and stuff to fill it with, like candy. So what you’re going to want to do is take the bottom of the bag and make a V shape from one end to the other. Then you’re going to take some scissors and cut that. Once you have your ears cut out, then you can take your paper grass and just stuff it in the bag. Put any kind of candy you want in there, or you can do a gift card.

Then you’re going to take your ribbon and just tie the ears up and make a cute little bow, and then kind of just form the ears like a little rabbit. Then you’re going to take your crafters glue and stick your cotton ball right on that and let it dry for a little bit. Now you have your cute little bunny bag that you can give to a teacher or your kid or friend, anybody really!

All right, so the next treat is for a toddler. It helps trick them into thinking they’re getting a Popsicle, when really it is a healthy yogurt treat. So I got these molds off of Amazon. You can get ’em at the craft store as well. What you’re going to want to do is take your sticks and kind of just go ahead and put them in there. Once you have ’em in there, you’re going to take your sprinkles and kind of just put sprinkles in.

Then you’re going to take your yogurt and put that on top. Once you’re done putting the yogurt on top, you can either stick some chocolate chunks in there just to kind of give it a little sweetness to it, sprinkle more sprinkles on top, pop it in the freezer for two hours, and then you have a delicious, cute little treat for your kiddos that is spring themed. If you have any wonderful ideas, we would love to hear about it. You can message us up on our Facebook page, and we’ll see you on the next Mom to Mom.
