Mom To Mom – Turn Leftover Water Beads Into Stress Balls

If you have kids, chances are, you’ve got a lot of water beads or Orbeez left sitting around the house. Why not put it to some good use and help relieve stress at the same time?

Now this is a fun activity for your kids to join in. And we are going to make water beads/Orbee stress balls.

Water BeadsThrow a bunch of water beads into a bowl, pour water into it as much as you want, let it sit for about four to six hours. That gives them a good formation.

Once you’re done doing that, then pour the beads into an empty water bottle. I like to have this little funnel cup right here because it helps me get all the beads in there. So just dump this in to our funnel to get those beads. Careful though, because they do like to bounce and if you pour too fast, they will bounce everywhere as I have learned before.

Once you get the beads into your bottle, then take your balloon and kind of just put it over the top. Once you got the balloon securely secured, you’re going to flip the bottle upside down and just start squeezing all the water beads into the balloon.

Water Beads Stress BallOnce you get your desired amount, you slowly carefully take the balloon off, pinching it at the end, tie it up, and then you’ve got your water bead stress ball.

Sensory play is a great way to help you relax and these water bead stress balls are perfect for it. If you have any questions or ideas, post them to our Facebook page, and be sure to check out our Mom To Mom page for more tips.
