Mom to Mom – Weekly Dinner Menus

Today at Mom to Mom, we are creating a weekly menu to help your meal decision a little bit easier.

One of the things I hate the most is dinner time and getting prepared for it. I never know what everyone in my house is going to want for dinner. So today we are going to create a weekly dinner menu option to help those nights go a little bit easier. What you’re going to need is some crafting paper, some note cards, paint some cute little tape to go on, some clothes pins, tape glue, juice boxes, and a canvas which you can all get at the craft store. So, what I do to create this is take my juice box and you’re going to want to cut it in half, rinse it out, dry it, make sure it’s pretty good, dry. Then you’re going to take your craft paper, kind of wrap it or around the juice box. Then I like to tape it and use a little craft glue to put it on my canvas.

You can create this however you want to make it. It’s your menu board. I put weekly menu up here with some fuzzy stickers that you can get at the craft store as well. And then I painted the backboard of the canvas. We go through once a week and write down a bunch of our favorite recipes and put it in the chicken, beef soup or pasta. Then if you have any wonderful recipes, put them on these cards, stick them anywhere you like, that way you know that that’s an option, and then go through with your kids and decide what you want by the day. So, we’re going to choose chicken parmesan and I’m going to stick that on the Monday tab. If somebody wants tacos for Taco Tuesday, you do that and then you have your meal planner all planned out for the entire week and it helps you because you can go to the grocery store and get all the stuff that you need for the entire week. If you have any wonderful ideas much like this, please share it with us and we’ll see you on the next Mom to Mom.
