Moms Take Caution in Clothing Swaps After Mom’s Murder
The recent murder of a Georgia mother has other local moms on edge when it comes to buying baby clothes.
Investigators say the victim was going to another person’s house to pick up some baby clothes she was promised, then the woman there shot her.
Meeting other women to buy and exchange kid items is common for local mothers.
But they say now they’ll be taking extra precautions.
"I actually have an item listed today that I will be meeting somebody this evening and I will be meeting at a public place where there’s lots of people around," said local mom Erinn Santore.
Police officials say you should always meet in a populated area when buying or selling items to strangers…and try to take someone with you.
