Monday Covid cases after another big weekend

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Hamilton County has surpassed 20,000 cases of the coronavirus.

There were 562 new cases over the weekend pushing our total number to 20-thousand 425.

More than 2700 of those are active cases.

There are currently 163 people in the hospital with the virus.

177 people have died from Covid-19 in Hamilton County.
