Moon Pie Store Grand-Re Opening Supports Wounded Soldiers

Chattanooga’s Moon Pie store celebrates its grand re-opening Friday and Saturday.
The store now is larger and has new features like an old timey soda fountain and sweet treats.
Before this expansion, it was the smallest moon pie store in the country.
A percentage of the grand re-opening goes to the local foundation Honoring the Sacrifice.
It’s a new foundation started by veteran Andrew Smith and his wife.
"Tori and I, ever since I was injured, have been extremely blessed by the Chattanooga area, so we started honoring sacrifices our way of helping out other wounded soldiers, because the support we received is pretty rare actually," said Smith.
You can also still get hot dogs, novelty items, and of course moon pie products.
