Moped passenger dies from injuries in weekend wreck

LaFayette, Georgia (WDEF) – The Georgia State Patrol confirms that one of the victims in a moped collision over the weekend has died.

21 year old Jessica D. Lollar of Dalton was a passenger on the vehicle.

The driver was also seriously injured.

They were hit by a Ford F150 on Highway 27 above LaFayette on Saturday morning.

Charges are pending in the case.
