More than 20 employee cars broken into at Volkswagen

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Several employee vehicles were broken into at Volkswagen recently.

One viewer informed us that this happened Monday morning. Many vehicles had their windows smashed in.

After reaching out to the Chattanooga Police Department, they stated that there were about 23 cars broken into.

Here is what CPD said of the incident:

“We are investigating the auto burglaries of approximately 23 vehicles in the employee parking area at Volkswagen.”

They have not announced any arrests in this incident.
