More To The Story: New Miss Tennessee Agriculture USA Queen is from Ooltewah

OOLTEWAH, Tennessee (WDEF) – “I’ve always been around agriculture. I grew up on a farm. And we had an orchard. And I love to ride horses too.”

Right around a month ago, Ooltewah’s Christal Majestic found out the good news. She had looked on-line, and decided to enter the Miss Agriculture USA state competition. She won.

She has the crown and sash to prove it. The 2022-2023!

“I was a little bit surprised. I really wasn’t sure if I fit what they wanted. But it’s turned out to be a wonderful fit!”

The Miss Agriculture USA organization has only been in business since 2018. Thus, it was Christal’s first attempt at winning the state award.
Her goal now, until the national competition, is to represent the Volunteer State with appearances at various functions.

“The good thing about it is you can make it what you want. As long as you have the time. My goal, for example, is to attend the county fair. As well as interact with as many local businesses as I can. I want to do that so I can understand what is best to advocate for.”

Christal, who attends Bryan College in Dayton, says she’s a perfect advocate. Because she has spent time in every Tennessee county. All 95 of them.

Again, the national competition is next June.
