More To The Story With Staley: Cristal writes a book
Miss Agriculture now adds "author" to her resume
OOLTEWAH, Tennessee (WDEF) – “I’ve always wanted to write books since I was a little kid. And it’s always been in the back of my mind. And after spending time on the beach, it hit me one day. I think it’s time. I think it’s time to write a book!”
And that’s what Christal Majestic did! In less than four months, Christal wrote a children’s book. She is responsible for drawing the pictures as well.
It’s called “Ruby The Emotional Stingray.” A stingray is Christal’s favorite animal. Ruby was the named of one of her cats when she was little.
“Ruby is growing up. Her parents are telling her how to navigate her emotions. So Ruby is learning in her day to day life. Whether it be anger or fear. Or dealing with issues that might come up with her friends.”
It’s been quite a year for Christal Majestic. She was named Tennessee’s Miss Agriculture. And now becoming an author. An author……with a purpose!!
“Growing up, these types of books weren’t available. Books for kids that were talking about mental health and emotions. This is me trying to help future generations.”
Christal’s book is available on Amazon. And also at Winder Binder on the Northshore.
And friends, keep an eye out for her next book……which will be out shortly!
